How to add the ZeroWidth Napkin MCP server to Claude (web and desktop)

Sign-in: No sign-in. Paste the URL and it connects.
Our hands-on result: Partial 6 of 7 tasks passed, tested Oct 18, 2026 with MCP TypeScript SDK (reference client).

Claude setup

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it ai-zerowidth-napkin and paste the URL: https://api.zerowidth.ai/mcp/x/napkin
  3. Click Add. No sign-in is needed.
  4. Start a new chat and turn the connector on from the tools menu.

We ran the hands-on test in a reference client, not in Claude. This config follows Claude's documented format for remote (Streamable HTTP) servers. If it fails for you, tell us and we will retest.
