How to add the Airtable MCP server to Claude Code

Server URL: https://mcp.airtable.com/mcp
Sign-in: We tested it with an access token sent as an Authorization: Bearer header. The vendor also offers OAuth sign-in, which we did not test.
Our hands-on result: Works 15 of 15 tasks passed, tested Oct 17, 2026 with MCP TypeScript SDK (reference client).

Claude Code setup

  1. Run the command, then run claude mcp get com-airtable-mcp to confirm it connected.

We ran the hands-on test in a reference client, not in Claude Code. This config follows Claude Code's documented format for remote (Streamable HTTP) servers. If it fails for you, tell us and we will retest.
