How to add the Charter Captain MCP server to Claude (web and desktop)

Sign-in: No sign-in. Paste the URL and it connects.
Our hands-on result: Partial 4 of 5 tasks passed, tested Oct 20, 2026 with MCP TypeScript SDK (reference client).

Claude setup

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it com-chartercaptain-charter-captain and paste the URL: https://api.chartercaptain.com/mcp/mcp
  3. Click Add. No sign-in is needed.
  4. Start a new chat and turn the connector on from the tools menu.

We ran the hands-on test in a reference client, not in Claude. This config follows Claude's documented format for remote (Streamable HTTP) servers. If it fails for you, tell us and we will retest.
