Oct 17, 2026, 2:30 PM CT, MCP TypeScript SDK (reference client): Scripted client using the official MCP TypeScript SDK against https://mcp.postman.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, protocol 2025-11-25). Signed in with a test-account API key (PMAK-, Bearer token) sent as an Authorization: Bearer header (token auth; we did not test OAuth). Server postman-api-mcp-server-full v1.8.0. Tasks ran only against a throwaway test account or project: test workspace only: authenticated user, workspace, list collections and environments, create a cr-test collection, add a request, rename the request, update the collection description, read it back, create, read and delete a cr-test environment, docs search (Learning Center), delete the collection, plus bad-input checks. 18 of 18 tasks passed.
Automated handshake
No public remote endpoint to check (local or package-only server).
Gotchas
- MCP TypeScript SDK (reference client): Slow: about 16 s. Set a generous tool timeout.
