How to add the Jina AI MCP server to Cursor

Sign-in: No sign-in. Paste the URL and it connects.
Our hands-on result: Partial 4 of 7 tasks passed, tested Oct 16, 2026 with MCP TypeScript SDK (reference client).

Cursor setup

  1. Save the file. The server shows a green dot in Cursor Settings, then MCP.

Page reading works without a key. Search tools need a free Jina API key, sent as Authorization: Bearer.

We ran the hands-on test in a reference client, not in Cursor. This config follows Cursor's documented format for remote (Streamable HTTP) servers. If it fails for you, tell us and we will retest.
