Notion gotchas
- The consent Continue button stays disabled until you tick "I recognize and trust this URL" for the redirect URL.
- The Inspector shows schema portability warnings on search, fetch, create-pages, update-page, and the attachment tools.
- On the free plan, search is keyword-only. AI search and some filters need Business or Enterprise.
- create-pages takes a pages array, so form-based clients need JSON mode. Creating with no parent puts the page at the workspace top level.

Slack gotchas
- No dynamic client registration, so you must create a Slack app. In its Agents settings turn on "Enable Slack MCP Server". Only internal or Marketplace apps qualify.
- resources/templates/list returns an error.
- The search tool needs both keywords and natural_language_query. Semantic search is unavailable on the free plan.
- The app UI only offers search:read, while the docs list granular search:read.* scopes. The server requests about 33 scopes on connect and Slack grants them.
- Posts appear as the user, tagged "Sent using <app>". There is no delete-message tool.
